Nitro Mesh or Nitro Max: check the module first

A larger cymbal can change the playing surface, but its size and advertised zones do not establish what your module input will recognise. Our Phantom dual-zone cymbal listings include Alesis Nitro in their compatibility information; that family-level reference does not separately verify every Nitro Max input, choke function or zone arrangement.

Compare the 10-inch Phantom dual-zone cymbal for a compact playing surface with the 15-inch Phantom dual-zone cymbal for more diameter. These are bow/edge cymbals; neither becomes a three-zone ride simply by assigning a ride sound. Confirm which functions your exact Nitro setup can use.

Browse the electronic cymbal range once you know your input requirements. Check the cable length, stand clearance and mounting arrangement as well as the pad itself. A 2-metre TRS cable is an accessory option where your verified connection calls for TRS.

Snare, mesh and other upgrades

For a larger playing surface, compare the electronic drum pads and confirm head/rim support and mounting before choosing. For a worn head, check the actual replacement-head size and hoop fit in the mesh drum head collection; the pad’s overall diameter is not enough to establish fit.

Will a larger cymbal add more sounds or zones?
